Blooming Where You're Planted

Perspective and Blooming Where You’re Planted.... “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Perspective is important. The first picture is a beautiful, close-up of an Arizona Lupine. From this perspective, you’ve got blue skies and green rolling hills in the background and all is well with the world! From the second picture, you can tell that this wildflower is blooming in the middle of our dirt driveway with a truckload of weeds behind it and some random buckets! To the left of those buckets is also a huge pile of manure - yep, goat poo.
Perspective is important because you need both the close-up and the big picture to understand any situation or person in life! The close-up can help you see the beauty and wonder or the nitty, gritty ugly of something/someone. The big picture can help you evaluate what you’ve seen up close and get more clarity on what is really happening! This can go both ways and both perspectives are necessary and helpful. This leads me to another point about this wildflower... Arizona Lupine is a desert wildflower and it always amazes me when I see all the places it manages to grow. Where has God planted you right now? Are you blooming? He has you right where you are for a reason and it may just be, that like this wildflower, you’re intended to bloom so as to be a blessing to someone else!
Be a blessing, bloom where you’re planted and keep perspective in mind!
